Experience the Magic of Malta
With a select group of beautiful couples who are ready to dive into an unforgettable life experience, Malta. The Republic of Malta is an archipelago containing a collection of large and small islands. Only three are inhabited: Malta, Gozo, and Comino. Malta is the largest and contains the capital Valletta, Fortress City, Citta' Umilissima',"a city built by gentlemen for gentlemen", as well as the country’s main international airport. The islands of Malta have over 250 kilometers of coastline and are surrounded by crystal blue waters that are some of the cleanest in the Mediterranean. Because of it's strategic location near Sicily, it has belonged to Phoenicians, Romans, Normans, Arabs and Napoleon before winning independence in 1964. Maltese is a branch of Arabic written in Latin script, but English is also the official language. Yes, they speak English!

Highlights of What You'll Experience in Malta
Neolithic Temple Sites, Modern Cities, Gorgeous Sea Views & Delicious Fresh Food
The AncientTemples
Mnajdra, Tarxien, Hypogeum and Ggantija
Among Malta's 3 islands there are dozens of neo- and megalithic stone structures that are the oldest known free standing monuments on Earth. We'll see Mnajdra, built around 3600BC, on a rugged stretch of Malta’s southern coast overlooking the glittering sea. When you visit the Hypogeum, a superb underground sacred burial site, you'll feel a quiet, sacred energy, where only 10 visitors at a time are inside. Here, large female fertility figurines were found, the most well known is the Sleeping Lady (see photo in gallery), now in the Malta National Museum. Walk to nearby Tarxien, the most complex of all temple sites in Malta consisting of four megalithic structures. The temples are renowned for the detailed carvings, which include domestic animals carved in relief, altars, and screens decorated with spiral designs and other patterns. Lastly, on Gozo, we will have private access and evening ceremony at Ggantija. These temples are the earliest of the Megalithic Temples of Malta and are older than the pyramids of Egypt.
The Mediterranean Sea
The Blue Lagoon in Comino
Wouldn't it be fun to go diving in the Med? Or take a lessons and get the feel for it? There are dozens of beaches and stunning coastal inlets in Malta with all kinds of marine life and wrecks to see. This one is on Comino, the 3rd inhabited island of Malta, known for scuba diving. More beaches & sea below in the gallery.
The walled fortress old city - Mdina
The Old Capital and know as the Silent City
Imagine strolling the streets of a walled city, Mdina, that traces back more than 4000 years! According to tradition it was here that in 60 A.D. that the Apostle St. Paul is said to have lived after being shipwrecked on the Islands. Lamp lit by night and referred to as "the silent city", Mdina is fascinating place we'll visit for its timeless atmosphere as well as its cultural treasures. From the 12th century to the present, it has been the home of Malta's noble families; some are descendants of the Norman, Sicilian and Spanish overlords who made Mdina their home. The Knights of Malta (Templars) made this headquarters for 800 years and we'll have a guide talk to us about their chivalry, honor and accomplishments. You'll love the impressive palaces, lovely shops and restaurants that line its narrow, shady streets. Mdina is one of Europe's finest examples of an ancient walled city and an extraordinary mix of medieval and baroque architecture. Also, Season 1 of Game of Thrones was filmed here, see special bonus section below.
Spending Time Together
The Streets and sites of the Cities
Whether you are newlyweds or renewing the bonds of your long marriage, you will enjoy just hanging out, sipping coffee or having a glass of wine in one of the many Cafes in Valetta the busy capital, shopping in St. Julian's or strolling The Strand in Sliema. There's always something just around the corner to discover and breathtaking to behold. Or, you can take a taxi to the inland farmlands, stunning beaches, or quaint little villages.
Free Time Activities
Scuba, Hiking, Mountain, Biking, Shopping and Spas
Since this IS a retreat, it's not only about learning relationship skills and exciting sexual practices, but also a generous amount of free time to explore the many attractions, the wild nature or the sea. Private excursions can be set up for Hiking, Scuba, Biking or make an appointment for spa treatments at Victoria Hotel or Ta Cenc. You can even call a taxi and just have him drive you around the island stopping where ever you like. It's your time to be together enjoying this shared adventure!
The Food
Mediterranean Healthy Fresh, Global Gourmet and Local Cafe Culture
Malta is a very cosmopolitan place, with a huge assortment of dining options. Whether you crave an Italian gelato, Asian fusion, traditional Tuscan dishes, gourmet global cuisine or want to eat like the Maltese do with a glass of smooth local wine in a village bar that comes with a dish of olives, some ġbejniet (yummy local sheep's cheeses), zalzett (coriander flavored Maltese sausage) with galletti (Maltese crackers) and some bigilla (broad bean pate) served with Maltese bread and olive oil. Or on a cold day, hot pastizzi (savory ricotta filled pastries) are perfect with wine or coffee. Warm days calls for ħobs biż-żejt, a popular snack made from a thick slice of crusty Maltese bread, rubbed with juicy, red tomatoes and topped with mint, a little onion, sheep's cheese and anchovies all soaked in delicious green olive oil; a taste of sunshine, a taste of Malta.
Stone Crab Restaurant in Malta
In the picturesque fishing village of Xlendi Bay, Gozo.
The Stone Crab restaurant is situated at the water`s edge and sheltered by high rising cliffs. Over these two decades, the restaurant has become a favorite among locals and regular visitors to Gozo. Testimonials
From lovely folks just like you who have benefited from working with Michael & Jessica
Comments from participants about their experiences at a Michael & Jessica event
After 15 years of marriage your seminar was just what we needed to spruce it up in the bedroom!! Your playful openness and transparency was refreshing and created the space for us as a couple to put our cards on the table and open up channels of communication. Great sex is extremely important to keep a relationship strong and I think many couples that have been together a long time forget this. Thanks so much for all our new tips and assistance in renewing the sexual spark between us!!
-Karen Jones & her husband, David - Feb 2016
“The most connected moment I could ever have in my life was with my partner, on the evening of your seminar.” -Lyndsay, Accountant - Jan 2015
“I loved it. I really, really loved it! It opened my eyes. Talking to my partner is part of a created relationship. That includes a created sex life. You have something big in this event. Its going to be really big for people.”
-Dana, Executive National Director, Sales - March 2016
“Michael and Jessica are so vibrant and fun to watch. What they do is different and powerful. I don’t know of any couples teaching what they are teaching.”
-Andrew Scopick, Business Owner - Feb 2016
A participant reveals what happened for her after a Michael and Jessica seminar
“After your seminar, we had the most connected sex than ever before. By far. Even with our relationship, it’s been rocky sometimes. Now I connect with him and lose those inhibitions and we deeply connect. He said he’s excited and happy that I’m letting him love me. I see he’s a lot less frustrated now. I feel so much more secure in his love for me now.”
-Laura, Teacher - January 2015
“To be honest, seeing the connection Jessica and Michael have is what makes it worth it. Knowing that’s possible, it’s really beautiful. It opens up that possibility for us.”- Luke Love - April 2016
What I received from the seminar is the notion that sensational sex begins outside the bedroom and that I can apply the same principles of pleasing my lover to everyday interactions with people. Principles like: Open & Gentle communication, understanding her verbal and visual cues, and caring about pleasing her first. Great stuff!
-Aaron Kagan, Actor, Martial Artist - March 2016
"We got to ask the things you're afraid to ask your partner. I can’t put a price tag on this.”- Jair, March 2015

For Game of Thrones Fans....
Season One of the popular and addictive show was filmed in Malta!
The Red Keep
Valletta
The winding, cobbled backstreets of the island's capital were used in several King's Landing scenes, but the most striking location here is the 17th-century Fort Ricasoli, which doubled as the Red Keep. It's visible across the Grand Harbour from the gorgeous Upper Barrakka Gardens.
Manikata
Malta
Just south of the ferry port that links Malta to Gozo (on the Maltese side) is the hamlet of Manikata (above). On its periphery you'll find some ruins that doubled as the village of Lhazareen, where Khal Drogo gets poisoned by a witch in episode eight of series one.
Azure Window
Gozo
The location was used for Daenerys and Drogo's wedding scene, where we're also introduced to Jorah. The foreground looks different in real life because the show's crew covered the ground in a mesh and smothered it in sand to achieve a desert effect. This didn't go down well with the Maltese authorities and may have contributed to the show's eventual relocation. We will see this on the retreat.
Red Keep Courtyard
Town of Rabat
Towards the town's periphery you'll find Saint Dominic's Priory (pictured above). This doubled as the Red Keep courtyard where, in episode seven, Ned seals his fate by telling Cersei he knows her and Jaime's secret. "When you play the game of thrones, you win or you die," comes her prophetic response.
Littlefinger's Brothel
Mdina
The old city Mdina's plazas evoke many familiar scenes, including the courtyard outside Littlefinger's brothel, where Ned Stark feels the pointy end of Jaime Lannister's sword. The sandy stone buildings and horse-drawn carriages evoke the essence of Westeros's principal city, making the whole area a delight to stroll around. This is King's Landing all right, minus the muck and violence.
